Direct Support Professional
Location: Evesham Township, NJ
Looking for a part-time self-directed employee to work alongside a young adult with developmental disabilities.
She enjoys being active in her community, attending events and spending time with her friends. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with behaviors, creating a schedule, being attentive, understanding, and respectful.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Assist with daily living: hygiene, medication, hand-washing
- Preparing meals and cutting into appropriate sizing
- Transportation
- Community outings and activities
- Working on spelling for communication
Requirements:
- Familiar with behavior management.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- You must be willing to have a drug screening, background check and fingerprinting.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transportation.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: starting at $25 per hour based on experience and credentials.
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Tuesday and Thursday
- 1-2 weekend days per month
- 10-15 hours per week, additional hours for the right candidate.
